Hi Joshua,

Something doesn't sound right. If you have your settings as I described in my 
last post, you should not have to provide an Apple ID and its password when 
acquiring an app. I did my settings quite a while in the past so perhaps 
someone who has had more recent experience with this can comment.

I have checked the correct settings for using touch ID for unlocking my phone 
and getting APPS, but I still need to enter in my apple ID and password to make 
this change take affect.  For some reason this wasn't the case when I unlocked 
my Iphone 8 with touch ID.
