There are a lot of factors that go into that kind of battery drain.
1. I always turn off the Screen Time. I know how long I've been using my
phone, so I do not need it tracking every minute and sending me a report; which
is what that does. It is a waste of battery unless you are a parent,
monitoring a child's usage.

2. Background app refresh. I turn it off.

3. Any apps accessing the internet that have not been closed out of the app
switcher, and probably others.

4. Raise to wake. A total waste of battery as every time the phone moves it
wakes up.

5. Auto Brightness, in my opinion, should be left on so that if you use the
screen curtain, it will take itself to 0. I know there are lots of people who
do not believe that saves battery, but since lowering the brightness is said by
Apple, will use less battery, logic would say if the brightness is at 0, that
will use the least amount of battery for the screen.

And, if you did an update recently, it can take several days before it is done
indexing everything.

There may be more things, but that is what comes to mind.

HTH,

Richard

Subject: Battery on iPhone 11.

Last night, after a phone call, first thing, my speakers would not work on my
iPhone 11, just from the telephone ear slot in the phone. I could connect a
headset, and it Siri would not work either other than screen display, "what can
I help you with?" would work.

I called Time and Weather, and when it was talking, I disconnected the headset,
and the speakers worked. But, when the call ended, back to the same problem.

I could not remember exactly how to reboot, but pushed in the Power button and
then Volume Down and Volume up. No change. My husband and I tried getting the
phone off, never seemed to be able to do that.

Some way, this morning, I got it back working, sort of finally came back on its
own, Siri too. But, now the battery is losing about 3% every half hour.

Somehow last night, I had managed to open Wallet, which I had a hard time
extricating myself from. This morning, I did go into it and turned it off,
since I have never used it. If the time comes that I intend to do so, I can
always go in and turn it on.

So, anyone have any idea what could be running in the background using battery?
There is nothing in App Switcher.
