I don't know if this has been covered, but if it has I missed it. Can these
new SE phones be ordered with the persons carrier SIM card? i.e, if I
wanted to order my wife & I SE phones from Apple, can we order them with
Verizon SIM cards already installed? Thanks.

Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

it cleans the toilet.

The SIM card has to be a Nano Sim; if the phone is that very old, it
probably won't fit.
You'd have to call Apple or do some web search on the model you have to find
out the size of the sim.
And you will need to go through your carrier to get the SIM card.

I have not ordered my phone yet as I wanted to listen to all the
information people had to offer first. So when I do order my phone which
will be unlocked as I use other phone services. Will I be able to get the
new sim card if I ask for it from Apple or do I need to order from somewhere
else? My iPhone is probably one of the very first ones out. I am talking
very old and will I be able to use that sims card in the new SE phone until
I get a card if i do need to order from another place?

Technically, the SE first generation and second generation take the same
size SIM card.
However, the new SIM cards are much faster, so Apple recommends getting
a new SIM card with the new phone.
I was told by an Apple staff person that I could set up the new phone
with the old SE SIM, but should then get a new SIM card as the performance
will be much better.
And, the new SE is a Dual SIM phone; as in one physical SIM and one eSIM
just like the 11 and xs/xr phones if your carrier supports the eSIM.
