Alan and Dave Indeed, this is a very secure option to turn automatic updates off because some apps temporarily become very inaccessible after an update. However, for security reasons when no problems are reported, make sure to update your apps on a regular basic even if you do it manually, especially for banking apps. Davy

My phone will say there are so many updates available. Then i go in to the app store, and do a 3 finger swipe down, to refresh the page, which can bring up even more, if they are available.
