Mary, I would not want to use a tablet full-time either; however, my point is that it could be done. THe level of efficiency is somewhat unknown. For example, could you use VueScan Mobile to connect to a scanner on the WIFI network and use something like prizmo to conduct the scan. Is it possible? Sure. Is it possible to use Pages? Sure. However, how effectively this can be done will depend. In any case I understand where you are coming from.
