Entering a passcode is no big deal. I've got an easy 4 digit code, and even if the only person who uses my phone is me, I would never under any circumstances not use a passcode. I think of the passcode kind of like if I had a password on my computer to put in whenever I turned it on. I don't have a password on my computer, but I know some people do.
