The basement is concrete and open to the crawl space under the
house which is why we finally got it insulated, etc.
The basement is under the front half of the house.
Being Bluetooth, I wasn’t sure it would work through the
floor, but it works just fine.
It’s a sunny day here and when it was first turned on after
being in the delivery truck, it read about 82 degrees, and 37
% humidity., bout 20 degrees warmer than it is outside today.
IN about 45 minutes in the basement it reads: 60.6 degrees and
50.7 % humidity. The temp is gradually dropping and the
humidity raising, but I suspect they are near their final
readings.
