Why is it so hard for blind folks to pickup dog poop?
I mean really, if you can’t pick it up, maybe a dog isn’t for you. In my area there’s lots of dog poo around on the street and you always feel extra apprehensive in case you step in it. Other people just go around or over it but of course blind people have no choice but to go through it if they are walking alone. I know they used to be anyway, but not sure if that is still the case now. and yet another point, is that the robot one should take you to exactly where you want to go, even if you have no idea of how to get there, and no sense of direction, where as that would probably be a heck of a lot to ask from the standard guide dog.
