exactly, yet another point in the robot's favour. although here in the UK, I believe guide dog users are exempt from having to clear it up. I know they used to be anyway, but not sure if that is still the case now.
and yet another point, is that the robot one should take you to exactly where you want to go, even if you have no idea of how to get there, and no sense of direction, where as that would probably be a heck of a lot to ask from the standard guide dog. Rightly or wrongly, one of the things I like about being a guide dog owner is that I feel the attention tends to go to the dog rather than me.
