Shirley, You need to open settings, swipe down to wifi & tap to open. Swipe down the wifi list & tap on your wifi name. You will be prompted to enter your wifi password. After you have entered the wifi password you will now be connected to wifi. Hope this solves the problem for you. If not maybe someone can tell you how to check your wifi speed.
