Your right, the reader is not accessible at all. What I have been doing is letting my wife, who is sighted, activate the sensor with the reader and then I use the app on the phone from then on. I was told by the company this is what I would have to do. However the next sensor I will try activating it with just the app on the phone.

You can activate the sensor without the reader, unless they’ve changed something, which is incredibly stupid, since the reader is otherwise not accessible at all. I’m really confused. Because I know back when I used these sensors over the course of a year or a year and a half often on, no reader was ever necessary. I’ve never even seen it.
