I, too, have experienced this issue on my SE II ... but, on a few occasions, when this happens ... I've discovered that the VO is coming through one specific Amazon Echo Dot with the other sounds still coming from the phone I'm holding in my hand. I have had to disconnect the Echo Dot on ethese occasions to get VO back.
