Hey guys, when I taught my last iPhone class, I taught the rotar this way and it worked great. The student was able to pick it up quite well, lightly using the back of the hand as my surface I showed them how to turn the rotar and what to do and it worked perfectly, this also works for gestures, and tapping as well.
