My husband updated to an iPhone 12 mini. I did a clean install of the Libre 2
freestyle app and the app that allows doctors to review your glucose readings.
When we put the sensor on his arm, the phone registers the sensors indicates
the requisite 60 minute wait. And that’s where the problems begin. When he goes
to scan the sensor the message is that the scanner cannot be recognized. We’ve
gone through five sensors, I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything
several times to no avail. I called Abbott Laboratories and it was a nightmare.
They think the big answer is to send more sensors. I called Apple, they ran
diagnostics on the phone and the chip that is supposed to read the sensor is
working fine.

Has anyone else had any problems similar? Do you have any suggestions? I set
the app back up on his iPhone 8, no problems at all.

Thank you very much,

Lynda
