I use Carbonite and think that it is both very good and accessible.

I am unsure about why someone thought it less so on the Mac, I use it on the 
Mac and cannot find a single thing that does not work well on that interface 
with Voice Over.

Its effectively $5 a month to protect as much data as you can squeeze onto as 
many internal drives as you have within your machine… Options exist to add 
external drives etc.

I have close to 500Gb backed up with it, and its fantastic peace of mind. You 
can also access your files when out and about, and changes made allegedly work 
their way back to your machine, although I've not tried this.

I can tell you that its a very good service that works well.
