I didn't test this all the way to the end since I didn't want to actually move an app out of a folder, but try the following:
1. Go into the folder 2. Go into edit mode by flicking down on any icon in the folder and double tapping on edit 3. Find the icon you want to move and flick down and double tap on drag 4. Now close the folder (I do this by sliding up from the bottom of the screen to go back to the home page) and find where you want to drop the icon 5. Flick down to drop before or after and double tap The app should now be on the home page and not in the folder. If there were only two apps in the folder then the folder will disappear and the other app will also be on a home page. -- Christopher (AKA CJ) =>รท Chaltain at Outlook, USA From: realman02 via VIPhone <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, November 1, 2023 3:02 PM To: [email protected] Subject: taking an app out of a created folder A few months ago, I tried moving an app and, despite my setting the app to drop after another app, good old IOS combined the two apps into one folder. Now I can't figure out how to get the app out of that folder. When I go into edit, it asks if I want to move the app within the folder. How do I get the app out of the folder?
