When I selected "Extract All" after downloading the compressed file, I got the message that an error prevented the file from being extracted, it never gave me an option to enter the password.

As for saving it on a thumb drive directly from an iPhone would require you to have one of the USB drives which can plug directly into an iPhone, if you have anything below an iPhone 15 this means the drive has to have a Lightning port. Such drives usually come with an app and you would save it to the drive the same way via the share sheet and then instead of selecting Dropbox, you would select the app your thumb drive uses.
