You will never notice the difference in processor performance, maybe battery is
a little better, but whether it's enough for a $200 difference is up to you.
Lastly, there is LiDAR, if you use things like door detection, people detection
and, from what I hear a new item, furniture detection, then of course the Pro
is the way to go. If I weren't using that I'd most certainly buy a regular
iPhone 16.

Subject: Pro or not pro?

I have absolutely loved this iPhone XR. No devices perfect, and this one has
its little issues from time to time, but it’s been an absolutely great phone,
perfect size etc. After six years, I’m still using the original battery which
is down down into the 80% tiles somewhere. It’s time to upgrade, although I’m
not turning this in, because I won’t get anything for it. And I can still use
it for things like playing books are barred books etc. So now the question
becomes: pro or not pro? I’m totally not interested in massive screens, which
means the promax and the plus are not for me. I expect I will go to a phone
store and check out the 16 and the 16 pro, but it’s really all about whether
it’s worth it to get the extra battery power The somewhat better chip
performance although will that really help me as a blind person? And the better
battery. I’m more interested in the contrast between the 16 and the 16 Pro.
$200 a better chip and a better battery. But how much better? Anyway, for
anybody who has already purchased one of the new devices, what do you think? I
will never be sold on a promax, because it’s just too big. I have an iPad mini,
and I don’t need another one. Smile.
