To turn on Braille Screen Input, you basically need to double tap a left hand corner and a right hand corner while in landscape mode.  These double taps need to be done together at the same time. It does not matter whether you use both top corners, both bottom corners, or one of each.  I personally put my left hand finger at the top left corner, and my right hand finger at the bottom corner. If it does not work sometimes for you, maybe you are not always putting your fingers far enough in the corners. As far as callibrating the dots. You first put your right hand down, lift it and quickly put your left hand down and lift it. You can do this while in typing mode or command mode. If done correctly, you will hear, dot positions callibrated.  You can callibrate the dots as much as you need. I found that I was putting my hands to far to the top and that made my typing not as accurate.  So I just lowered my hands a little toward the bottom of the screen and my typing got accurate again.
