My husband recently got an iPhone 15, and I just got a 16 Pro. Previously he
had an android and I have my old 10 R. We have a landline through Xfinity.
Never had any problem with either of those phones receiving a call from our
landline. But now, neither phone receives a call from our landline. Both of
them goes straight to voicemail. And our home number is in both of our contacts
on our respective phones. My husband does not have the deal where if it’s an
unknown caller it goes straight to voice Mail. I do, but since the number is in
my contacts, that should not be a problem. Yet every single time we try it,
there’s no ring and it just goes straight to voicemail. The idiot at T-Mobile
was absolutely no help of course. They used to have people that sort of had a
clue. This guy just couldn’t possibly deal with VoiceOver, and then said I
can’t have it on while he’s setting up the phone of course. So, naturally he
had no suggestions. Has anybody ever seen this problem before and do you have a
solution?
Mary
