Mary, do you have your home phone number in your Contacts? When my husband had
to leave because of health problems, I deleted his phone with the special ring,
and gave the ring to his daughter's phone in another state. So then, our home
phone was deleted from Contacts. Then, I could not receive calls from it, so I
made a new contact and named it Home, and if I mislocate my phone, I can call
on it to find my phone, in case Find My does not work, if the phone is way off
in the other part of the house.

Nope. It’s off. And the phones get calls from other phones, like iPhones or
android.
