Hello all, I am using an iPhone13 pro and I am not having this problem but I am curious to know more about it. Is there a specific time or instance where the volume either becomes too soft or loud? Perhaps if you find this out then an automation shortcut can be set to set the media volume at the desired level. One might be able to get this level by asking Siri what there volume level is. This could be the workaround for the time being until a fix is implemented.

Lyne, I told the Apple rep I talked to a few people who are having the same problem with the volume, as a friend of mine has the same problem, and she is using an iPhone 14 Pro. She is visually impaired though just meaning she still has a lot of sight, so it doesn't really bother her a whole lot, until I mentioned it to her last month, so she started checking her phone, and called me and told me she is having the same problem. The Apple rep told me to tell anyone who has this problem to try and change the 100 percent just a little, to see if that works, and when someone wants to raise the volume up or down, use the up or down volume buttons. The rep also said this problem with the volume is only for people using Voiceover. Matter of fact, she said she has the same problem, but she is using an Android Phone! So, I'm not sure I believe what the rep said, but that is all I have to go on. I strongly believe if Apple really considers this an expected behavior, It is not worth buying an iPhone, and all the iPhones I've had, I've loved each and everyone of them. I have an iPhone XR and this is not an issue on that 6 year old phone. I do believe something is wrong some where along the line here, I just don't know where. I will do everything I can to get another phone though, rather it be a newer or older phone. I paid $1,100.00 I would like to like this phone, but I don't. Now, that I keep thinking about this, I'm going to call Apple tomorrow to see what another rep might tell me about this problem, because I can't believe Apple considers this an expected behavior. I also wonder if that rep who I talked to was from the Apple Disability Department. I also wonder why that rep had me to give her my serial number of my phone, if she didn't plan on reporting this to Apple, just curious. Kindly, Janet. ----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Lyne Sent: Saturday, June 28, 2025 8:09 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: Volume On An iPhone 16 Pro Question Please. Hello Janet, I'm not sure that your problem is only with iPhone 16 because I have the 14 pro as I told you. I will try to do the forced restart Lyne > Le 28 juin 2025 à 19:38, janet gross <[email protected]> a écrit : > > According to the apple rep who I talked to there isn't going to be any > patches for this one. > Although, I am having a hard time believing this, but I can only say what the > rep told me. > I was seriously thinking about buying the iPhone 17 when it comes out, but > rather it is the phone 17, I'm going to try and get rid of this phone, for > the simple fact I do not like this, and I do not want this. > If I need to down grade, I will do that as well. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
