Sigurd I had to laugh because I went to YouTube to look for tutorials on using iPhones without the home button. The woman was showing the swiping up from the bottom and it wasn’t working for her… Just exactly what it does for me. It really made me laugh.
I’ve been without a home button for about a year. I consider myself to be fairly intelligent and coordinated yet I still find that it doesn’t always do what I wanted to do. I touch the bottom of the screen and swipe up until I feel the haptics and I know that that is supposed to be the homepage if I keep going the next set of haptics is supposed to be The applications but frequently it doesn’t move me where I want to be, and I have to keep trying. Sometimes I have to touch the top of the screen. And then start again with my finger at the very bottom of the screen and moving toward the top. I have no idea why sometimes touching the top of the screen will make it so it does take me to where I wanna go.
