As Sieghard pointed out, the three-finger double tap just turns off Speech, but not Voiceover, and as he said, the Voiceover gestures are still required, so when I let someone sighted use my phone, I press Power three times, and when I get my phone back, I press Power three times again.
The other day, I opened Chat GPT, turned off Voiceover, so my son could see how it worked.
