Thank you richard and every kind soul that replied. If anyone of you uses a microphone with iPhone for recordings, I will also appreciate your suggestions. I am going to explore zoom and olympus devices as welll, even though for most of my needs, iPhone should suffice. I am considering stand alone devices if I need to record longish meetings and conferences. Thanks again everyone.
