Peter, The B cntractions start with ones that use the lower b, dots 2,3 which in computer braille is the number 2, so because you are using Jaws and probably a text editor, it is showing you things in computer braille, so the sign for the letters b e and the double b which are all dots 2,3 is being read as the number 2.
This is why I said the file is designed for reading on a braille display. I also listened to the mp3 audio recording. With Jaws, looking at your list of contractions listed alphabetically, I got as far as the “b”s. the “b” contractions start with the number 2. Maybe a mistake? Earlier, I got a list of the Command Mode commands. You can get the app switcher with a double tap of the letter “h”: Press dot one, dot two and dot five together twice How (in command mode) to close the highlighted app and move left right through a number of open apps? I gather you have a braille display, so the BRF files could be used on it. There is an MP3 file where I recorded some and a Word document for braille commands when using an Aple device. They can be found at: https://www.turner42.com/Braille.html There is also some fun stuff there. My knowledge of braille goes back 60 years. I only remember the alphabet and common punctuations. At university I knew grade 3 braille and the Nemeth code. Most of that is now forgotten. What we now have is Unified English braille. Is there a table list to help? How would I use the 8 dot braille? Peter T. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
