Hi,
I'm gonna rant here for a second or two, so bear with me, okay. Hopefully I
won't make a complete ass of myself in the process.
I really like the idea of using an app like this to create custom ringtones
from songs in my music library.
Having said that, what seems really stupid and inefficient to me is creating
the ringtone, having to e-mail it to myself, save it on my PC, import it
into iTunes, then sync with the phone. Where's the logic in all that? Why
doesn't Apple give us the ability to access the phone's folder/file
structure directly and save the ringtone where it needs to go? I guess this
sort of limitation's been around since IOS came into existence so I'd just
have to get used to it, but it annoys the hell out of me. On my PC, laptop
and note-taker I've got free rein to do what I please within the file system
and it's my responsibility alone if I screw things up. Would I have to
jailbreak the phone to get around that limitation?
I'll freely admit that, being relatively new to IOS, having only used it for
about a year-and-a-half, these may be silly questions, but it's something
I've always wondered about.

Hi again,
By the way, if you want to delete the RingTone from the app after you sent
it, just double tap on Edit and a "Delete switch button, off" will appear
next to the file. Again you just hear the swipe tone if you swipe right
from
the delete switch to the actual file, but you can double tap the delete
switch to change it to "Confirm deletion for" and double tap that to
complete deletion of the file. Normally Voiceover would say "Confirm
deletion for and then speak the file name, but it's still useable. After
you
are done deleting the file double tap on Done at the top right (it's the
Edit button which changes to "Done" when you double tap it.
Maybe some of you who have more time than I right now will write to the
developer, it would be nice if that last little bit was made accessible.
Regards,
Sieghard
