Christopher, apparently he does. Is there a way to verify it?
I sent mail to it and it did not bounce back.

He needs to have a Gmail account. I'm not sure if you can set this up
from your phone or not. Once you have an account, you shouldn't have to
do any authentication from the PC side, unless of course you've set up
some additional security.

I don’t use gmail so I don’t know. He is not a techie and someone in the
Sprint store set it up for him. It is saying the credentials are not

Hi Paul, I'm not sure about the Gmail app, as I don't use it, but if you
just want to go to mail, and have your friend select the Gmail settings,
then put in your username and password, and your mail will come right to
your inbox. You'll see options to Choose from a yahoo account, Gmail,
and other selections. Again, go to your mail app, and from the
selections, choose Gmail.
