Does anyone know why after deleting a contact and then going into the messages application the contact still appears? the only way I can ensure a contact does not show up in the messages app is by erasing my iPhone,
If anyone is unclear as to what I'm asking lets say I want to delete my friend Named Mack and all of his contact info I go into the phone app scroll down to Mack and hit edit, followed by delete. I am prompted if I want to delete this contact I tap delete . Now if I go into the messages app and hit the letter M Mack's info is still there listed with my other contacts whose names begin with m.
