LS: I have an iPhone, but I am assuming it works the same for your device. Touch one of the apps in the app switcher. Double tap with one finger but on the second tap hold your finger on the screen until you hear a tri-tone and it will say "editing apps." Take your finger off the screen and then double tap again, and the app will disappear off the switcher. Now it will give you another app and you can double tap again. Keep double tapping until all the apps are gone. Now you will hear "app switcher is empty" and double tap or home to dismiss app switcher. Do not get discouraged! This was a hard thing for me to understand and do, but many folks on here were very patient with me and worked hard to help me. Hope my description helps. This maneuver was as difficult as selecting text which I still cannot do very successfully! Hope I have helped just a bit. Reggie
