Hi Rick,

I guess this wouldn't work with the screen facing you because your hands
would be upside down. If you had fingers sprouting from the back of your
hand it would work well *smile*.

Subject: Re: Problems with BRAILLETOUCH

Hi Robert.

I also am finding this very interesting. It took me a few minutes but once
I got my head around the phone being backwards in a visual sense, I was
Brailling away with no issues. Even though I have no vision whatsoever, the
fact that the phone was facing away from me and visually upside down from my
point of view was somehow troubling me. As soon as I forgot about the
screen orientation and just worried about the home button being on the
right, I was good to go.

I can't help but wonder why this can't be done without having to have the
landscape orientation facing away from you as opposed to facing you.
I'm sure there's a very good reason for it but just curious what that
reason is. Pretty amazing app.

Best,

Rick alfaro

minutes after installing BrailleTouch. I had listened to a couple of
podcasts about it and had read the User's Guide.

website. If you take a few minutes and read that, I think you will
understand better how to use the app and won't be so frustrated. The
description of how to hold the phone is there. The special custom gestures
that enable you to get space, delete and to open the menu are there, etc.
Good luck.
