In future, have the staff show you to your room, orient you to the thermostat, TV remote control, outlets, regular vs. decaf coffee, and shampoo vs. conditionervs. lotion. It only takes a few minutes, and they are happy to do so.

So I took a closer picture, and eventually I got 5 responses. However all of them were dead wrong. The responses ranged from white, to 71, to thermostat. None of which actually answered my question. So I gave it up as a bad job and flipped the switch to the left, since on mine at home, left is AC, and sure enough, I gambled right. -- Raul A.
