I hope you are communicating that with Sendero. The more they hear the greater chances they may choose a one-off purchase model, but if they don't hear from many people, that certainly will never happen.

I do not and will not subscribe to such a service. Paid services such as Serious, Pandora and other subscription based services are, in my opinion, a waste of money. One of the reasons I chose 1password over Lastpass was because of this model. I own 1password and if I choose not to upgrade in the future I have that right. Lastpass is subscription based and unless I continue to pay them for the rest of my life I loose access to the service. Same thing with this Sendero product. unless I pay them to access their system or if they go out of business my investment is lost. No thanks. I have not seen or heard anything about a APH solution but will surely be looking at it over Sendero if it's a one off purchase with paid map updates. Again, these are just my opinions and how I personally choose to spend my hard earned cash. I would hope that common sense would prevail with Mr. may and they rethink their position.
