Hi marie,
Initially I couldn't get the weather station to connect to my WiFi and thought there was a problem, but it turned out to be a bug in their firmware which wouldn't let it connect to the specific setup I had with a regular, non Wi-Fi enabled router and an Airport Express which I used to create my WiFi. I ended up buying a new router and it worked fine although the setup process on the PC with their wizard is not very accessible. It can be done if you use Jaws 13 or Jaws 14 by using the Jaws convenient OCR feature, you basically have to do the OCR on several setup screens and use the Jaws cursor to click on stuff, far from ideal and somewhat tricky. It is, however, a snap if you have sighted help, takes all of 2 minutes. Now, having said this, I am actually once again changing my router in a couple of days and because of it I will have to reconfigure the weather station to connect to my new WiFi network. I was told by Netatmo that they improved this process on the iPhone since you don't have to use a computer to connect your weather station. You can also do it via the app, but in the past this was also inaccessible. I assume a few more days won't matter to you, so let me check if this works and how well it works and I'll let you know. This initial setup is something you won't ever have to do again unless you change your WiFi in any way and, as I said, the app for daily use/checking of weather related information is now very nicely accessible. I haven't got anyone with useful vision or technically minded around me therefore wouldn't buy the station if it was very tricky to set up independently. Your thoughts/comments very much welcomed on this matter and all other information you think I should know before buying this device, on or off list. Thank you in advance, Looking forward to reading more!
