There is a product called "RE remote." It plugs in to the bottom of the phone and can control a variety of devices. It cost around $40-$45 from amazon.com. There was a podcast on applevis about it. It does require some sighted assistance, however, it is overall accessible. I should explain sighted assistance is needed in the beginning.
