OK, I did not set the recognition language first. I personally don't want to use an app that doesn't remember my settings. The paper was square, etc. Also, you can use line, word or character navigation in Prizmo just fine, which I think Sandy had mentioned as an advantage for TextGrabber, but I have no trouble doing that with Prizmo. The test was done with the iPhone 5, but I only have my personal Email accounts on my touch so I copied the text from Dropbox where I had saved the file after merging the results in MS Word on the computer.
I will give TextGrabber another try once I've set it to English, but like I say, for me personally, I'd rather not have to keep resetting things because it doesn't know how to default to the language of the device being used.
