I use blind square for my GPS option. I have brightness turned down to 0 and auto brightness off. Also, I lock the screen and have the screen curtain on. I walked in my neighborhood the other day for almost 80 minutes. The battery only went down 9 percent from a full charge to 91 percent. I thought that was pretty impressive.

So the amount of light and GPS usage are the two most current suckers on the iPhone.
