I would suggest sending a message to Harry about your problem.

The only way they will know about issues is if they are told about problem 
areas.

I’m waiting the arrival of a new 12v adapter.  the first one sent was damaged 
in the mail.

Harry was very helpful when I explained the problem.

Hi all.

Ok I should have bought an extra standscan pro at once when I got mine. Today I 
needed to scan some barcodes, but it did not work. I am sure that the 
connection to the lights is broken. Just to tell you all, that StandScan Pro is 
a great box, but I think it can easily broke. I think I will order a new 
StandScan pro, but only because it is so great for me as a blind person, and it 
helps me a lot especially with barcodes, but I will also say, that StandScan 
pro must last longer than 10 days.
