Yes, when you set up your Gmail account, you'll want to check calendar
in addition to mail. Once you've got that done, you can have your Google
Calendar displayed, set as the default and so on.

Thanks for that link. I will read that tomorrow and also go hunt for
that applevis podcast. So, can you also enter data in your iphone agenda
and it will be synced with your gemail account or does it not work that
way?
Thanks

I have my Gmail contacts and calendar synchrnonized with my iPhone and

Try:

il-contacts-to-your-iphone/
They give a quick overview on how to do it. There are also other Google
support articles on how to do this. I believe too that there was a
podcast
posted on Apple Vis covering this same topic.
The only thing I wish the iPhone would do is sort by the file as
option that
is offered in Gmail and Outlook, but alas... if there is in facta way
to do
this, I'd sure like to know.

Subject: how to integrate gmail with phone/contacts on ios?
phHello,
I would like to use my gmail address book to keep everything central (for
example if i need to use a pc that i can see all my contacts that i
have on
my idevice etc). Is it possible to set the phone/contacts/agenda ios
apps in
such a way that entries you make there will immediately be put in the
gmail
address book and also the other way around?
Thanks in advance for any info,
Greetings, Anouk,
