Hi again, I should have edited the subject line because a "CalDAV" account is for syncing calendars, you need to use a "CardDAV" account to sync contacts. I still think it's a pain in the neck, if you use Google and want to sync mail, contacts and calendar you have to set up 3 different accounts, if you use Outlook.com with Exchange Active Sync you set it up once and it does it all. I'm sure glad I decided to go with Hotmail/Windows Live 4 years ago when I decided to stop using my provider's email, yes, changing email addresses is a bit of work, but I still have my provider's email so one can do it over time, but once it's done it's well worth it.
