Hi folks, I am working on an app called All Access Menus that is designed specifically for the blind, low vision, deaf, and hearing impaired communities.
It features menus that speak to you, and for you. We have tens of thousands of menus in the system so far, and growing. It knows where you are and shows menus nearby. You can choose categories of food as well. It is designed to use VoiceOver to provide a summary of the options, but also has text-to-speech to give you hints, and if you cannot speak, it can speak your order for you. We should be rolling it out within a couple of weeks. I am doing a focus group with the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, here in Rochester, New York next week and hope to incorporate their feedback. Watch for it at http://AllAccessMenus.com or contact me at [email protected] --- Todd Bernhard > > > > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
