I have a Jabra, and it works just fine. It sounds like your might not
support A2DP. You have to make sure which ever one you get does support it.

Unfortunately, no. Some bluetooth headset will play nicely with voice over
and some do not. It has been my experience that the Jabra headsets do not
work with voice over. Plantronics and Samsung seen to work well, at least
the ones I have owned.

I purchased a Jabra bluetooth earphone a few weeks ago with the express
purpose of being able to hear VoiceOver and Siri through that channel. But
now it seems that VoiceOver continues to sound through the onboard speaker
on my iPhone 5. Is there anything I might do to change this?
