Robin, your message hits on what may be the central difficulty with the high-quality voices: introducing tiny interruptions within words themselves. It seems, to my brain at least, that individual words are being broken up into parts by very small pauses. I wouldn't mind if there was a tiny pause between words, but a pause within a word throws me off.
