Did you ask what he did? I would maybe check if the Triple Click home to turn on/off Voiceover maybe somehow is not set any more because if Voiceover somehow went away and it is not set then maybe all he did was go to Settings, General, Accessibility and Voiceover and turned on Voiceover. Anyway, the guy took mine, and within seconds had it working again. I was thankful especially he knew what to do but just frustrated I had to make the trip, just because any other sighted person I would ask would say they didn't know how to help me. None of my sighted friends are at all technical savvy, they can barely do email. Oh well, at least I have my phone back.
