Recently, someone asked a question regarding GPS programs which would verbalize the names of intersections. I apologize for not saving the message in question as I cannot quote it or even approximate what the respondent said. But, if I remember it correctly, I understood the message to say that none of the GPS programs would verbalize the street names unless one were using an iPhone 4S or 5. I want to be sure I understand this. Am I to understand that if I am running either a 3GS or 4, there are no GPS programs which will verbalize the names of streets as one is approaching?

Thanks.
