This is sort of inline with a post asking about the vOICe for iOS. I was wanting something to read me intersections on a bus. Seigard (sp?) mentioned blind square would do this, and I've found that Ariadne GPS will too, as long as it's open, in the front, and VO is turned on. The "Start Monitoring" button is what's needed to activate this feature. I'm running Ariadne on an iPhone 4 btw.
