Hi Christopher,

If it is Jaws, then Control+Shift+Up Arrow selects the prior paragraph, I
assume if you are underneath a message header this might select all of it
and you can then press Delete to delete it.

Anyhow, Simon, if you want to select text and delete it on an iPhone, you
have to Cut it, i.e. set your rotor to words or lines depending on how much
at a time you want to select, then use the pinch out gesture (put 2 fingers
on the screen and move them apart) to select the text, then turn your rotor
to Edit and flick down to Cut. This will take the selected text out of the
email message and put it on the clipboard, but that's OK as long as yo don't
paste it anywhere.

If you are using a Bluetooth keyboard there are keyboard commands for
selecting text, but since I rarely use a Bluetooth keyboard for anything but
typing, I don't know what they are.

Regards,
Sieghard

Sorry, I'm not familiar with this control+shift+up-arrow short cut, and
I don't know what screen reader, email client and operating system
you're using on your PC. I also don't understand why you can't just edit
out this text from the forwarded message. Maybe someone else knows how
to do what you're asking for, if it's possible.
