To delete individual episodes: Just double and hold on each episode you want to delete. You will get a pop up screen that has actually several choices including to delete the episode.

I wish the developer of Downcast would be able to figure out how to implement the Action rotor which would allow you to just swipe up or down on an episode and double tap to delete just as you can do with emails. My feeds will update with downloads ready for download and then I go down the list and delete the ones I’m not interested in downloading and then activate the pause button again which now says enable. Since I’ve got over sixty feeds, it sometimes takes a bit for everything to get updated so I just go do whatever else I want on the phone in the meantime.
