You alternate between food and gold to train your heroes on each level.

I see now that the heroes can be trained with gold as long as they're two
levels below the current level of play. I'll try this. Also, I turned on
notifications for solara, and it now lets me know when I have more food.

I just want to add that I am at level 36 almost up to 37 all without buying any
Esper, just saving gold and food as I go. I am 10 % away from level 37.

Hi all and thanks for the help.
How can Solara be played without esper? I have already run out and had to buy
it twice. It seems to be required for buying food and for building some
buildings.
I only started playing yesterday, but I am in level 11, and I have had to buy
esper for food, which is used for training up heroes and for fighting.
I wish I could use some of my gold for that and for other things, because I
have lots of gold.

God Bless,
WREN
