Hi Kay, This exactly one of those situations where having volume in the rotor should help. I fyou are in a call, you can take your phone away from your ear and let it switch to speakerphone. Now turn the rotor to volume and swipe up to raise Voiceover volume. This should work although I know on my 4S this used to work perfectly in iOS 5 and it never has worked well in iOS 6I used to be able to turn Voiceover up with the volume rotor and the speakerphone volume down with the volume buttons where it was nicely balanced just as it is when using a headset. . From what I heard I think this works better for iPhone 5 users and hopefully it will work again for me if I get a new iPhone in September. I have an unlocked iPhone 4S 64 Gig Black and I will most likely preorder the new iPhone once it's announced and then sell my 4S.
